Basic Info

·In person Sign-ups for Season 2 will take place Sunday February 28, 2016 or you can sign up today on our website! 

·Anyone over the age of 17, male or female can sign up. Skill level does not matter!

·Location is TBD.

·The Regular Season depending on weather will start Wednesday April 6, 2016. Start time also undecided until we know how many teams we have.

·The plan pending how many teams we generate is to have a 10 week regular season followed by a 3 week, single elimination playoff.  

Team and Player Info

·Team will be required to have 8-12 players.

·Each team will be supplied with a jersey/shirt that at the time of signing up they will have the option to pick their name, number and the captaincy for their team.

·Each team will be given 3 additional jerseys for any last minute walk ons they may need throughout the season.

·Players at no point during the season can play for any other team but their own (including playoffs).

·There is no equipment or protection required other than a stick, but again we don’t shy away from anyone wanting to wearing shin pads, eye wear, elbow pads.

Fees

·Players signing up individually will pay $80 for the entire season.

·If you are planning to sign up as a team, the team fee is $800.

·Teams prior to game 1 of the regular season will have the option for $25 to add 3 additional players (walk ons) that they may use for the entire season. These players may not be players from another team, or once in the playoffs, players from eliminated teams.

Rules of the League

We are committed to providing a safe and fun league for every player that joins our league, please follow these guidelines. By not following the guidelines you may subject to expulsion from the league and not considered for future play.

·There is no heavy contact.  This game is designed to be fun and we do not condone heavy hitting, such as open rink hits and cross checking.  We understand that games get intense but please remember that we are here to have fun, not hurt others.  Referees will call penalties for any play they feel is unwarranted.

·Sticks are for playing, not slashing or tripping please watch your stick use.

·Verbal language, we are all adults, we can swear, but we do not tolerate any threats to any players or fans watching the games. If you feel angered by something during a game please see one of the MVHL managers so we can take care of the issue.

 

Privacy Policy

We use all points of social media to advertise, facebook, twitter, instagram and new to season 2 will be youtube.  If you do not feel comfortable or would like your images to not be posted on these sites please inform us prior to signing up so we can edit where needed.  We do not sell or give out your information to anyone it is used only for league purposes.

 

The number one thing asked for this season was for more competition, so we are committed to pushing the limits and are hoping to add up to 6 more teams this year.  There is only 3 of us, and although we can cover most of the ground work in terms of marketing don’t ever hesitate to tell people about our league.  If you have any special talents or abilities in terms of photography, flyer creation, etc, please let us know we are always looking to try new things and make things more exciting.
